keep on trying.

Will keep in mind that its your thirt track so I guess you are still a started with the whole *making music concept* well, congrats, at least you understand the basics, its a thing that some people on NG lack and dont want to believe...

The track itself is nothing special, but at least it tries to sound variating, its more then just a line looped with another line. I cannot give you some decent advice cause its way to monday, but at least, believe me as I write down that my ears are not bleeding, but they are used to a lot of crap...eeerw... music. Dont give up, one day you will make that *something special*.

RasmusTheAlien responds:

Thanks man... I really like your review...

I'll keep on trying to make something... And as you say, someday i might come up with something REALLY great...

Actually im not *all* new to the music making... its just the third track that i finished up and realesed... I did make quite a few unrealesed and REALLY BAD track, which helped me figure out how to make a better track.

Im very delighted that you think its a bit variating... most of my friends always say that my tracks are to repetive... XD

You said you had tips for me? Just PM them to me when you feel like it

Anyways... thanks for the review XD

intersting

was it finished yet or do you wait for your hardware? It sounds promising, and I hope that you gonna make a full version. IF NOT, then give me my 2 points back ;p

axeFX responds:

I made this with FL studio 8... I probably wont be able to bring this song over to sonar 7 or protools... but yea. This isn't complete, ill try and get it finished soon tho

Hardcore defenetly

the only issue is that we in europe, and especially holland call this hardcore, in the states hardcore is known as Gabber, and what they prefect as hardcore is rock to us... quiet confusing... I asked for a Hardcore section but no response till now... sadly...

One of my own hardcore tracks (carf vs glados - portcore2) is laying in a dutch recordcompany, waiting for an approval if its going to be pressed on vinyl or not.. .cant wait for the verdict ;).

Hardcore never dies!

Hotplurplegnome responds:

yeah its quiet confusing i know:D
but yeah thanks for the cool review:D

bit boring

I wonder how this ended up on the top10 in the techno list...
Its okay... but its nothing special... it should have MUCH more originality to end up
so high in the list... maybe a worked out remix would let it end up on its place on a decent way which deserves the score...

Jimtopia responds:

XD This ended up in the top 10 of the techno list?! I don't even know how that happened.

Good attemp

Good luck @ the MAC this month ;) I am gonna wait a while before posting. But its a very good point of inspiration ;) Is it an airplane flowing on your melodies? ;p

RenoakRhythm responds:

THanks for the good luck, I hope you do well as well. This is my first so i'm kinda clueless to what is expected. Oh and good news i'm exporting the file again with new pianos... unfortunately its taking over an hour so far to export, the nice thing about FL keys was that it didn't eat up as much CPU. Hey let me know when you upload your submission.

RR

Oh and the melody, i've kinda left out what i'm imagining while listening to this , but... the beginning is suppossed to sound like the plane is taking off then the rest is flying and the different emotions... then near the end where i throw it through a filter and it sounds distant and muffled is suppossed to sound like the passenger in the plane is closing his eyes and just taking in the flight, then he opens his eyes again as they are flying into the sunset... the end.

keep it up.

First thing that caught my attension was the way you managed to give the background an intresting vibe. I love mixed and fixed sounds on for and background, it gives a track lots of depth. Altrough I am missing a *stable lead* it sounds like a good background for a game or something like that here on NG. keep up the good work, you know what you are doing ;).

A-New-Decade responds:

Thanks for the great review, man.

Good job

Intro starts off good, so that is already promising. You got my attension. Its overall a very well balanced and standarized trance track, with standarized in a positive way. Overall it listens away quiet easily. Good job, that is for sure. Did you fixed the vocals aswell or was it a *stumbled upon* sample?

Keep up the good work

Kazmo responds:

Thanks for dropping a review!

I'm still not quite sure what you mean by your question "Did you fixed the vocals aswell or was it a *stumbled upon* sample?", feel free to PM me to clarify that.

Thanks again.

Makes me wanna

play Tony Hawk so that means it fits the genre ;)
keep up the good work.

Set-Your-Goals responds:

Haha, thanks.

dreamy sounds

dreamy for sure... but it seems that you have been *playing* around a bit to much and it did not worked out that well in my opninion... lots of snaires and kicks are out of sync and it is not a real benefit... the track itself is hard to follow and becomes quiet repeditive. The vocals are mixed trough the track nicely. At some points to many sounds trying to earn their place on the front and they push away to many sounds to the back and then it gets quiet confussing what is all happening...

keep up the good work, you know what you are doing, that is for sure. ALL the words that I wrote down are my point of view and we are all here to learn from one another :0 Its creative sharing and caring.

EoD696 responds:

You don't like the offbeat snare huh? Thats a bummer, I thought it was cool. And for the record, I prefer the term *experiment* vs. *play* heheh. I think you're right about the mastering though, I'll have to go back and redo it, bring the noise loop down a bit in parts so the strings and such can flourish. Thanks for the critique :)

confused

Can I please ask what the intension has been of sharing this? I dont think that it would be picked up quickly as for use in an animation... its not really deepgoing... not a lot happends within the 2 minuts of audio... the idea could be way more worked out. make it more spooky, make it compatible wiht one of my ghost houses in RCT3 ;) Please do not feel offended, its just my point of view which I share with you as being a creative person.

iamgrimreaper responds:

This is a good song, you couldv'e at least voted 4 on your review. This doesn't deserve a 0.
